He wouldn't quit spreading that rumor regardless of the potential bruises and fractures it would inevitably incur.
Hence his persistently forward smile in the face of her utter disinterest and mounting impatience.]
Oh! Well, I suppose that's an interesting piece of information to share with us, Madame President but I hardly see why it's a relevant topic at the moment. [Blinking like he's pretty--]

[The daunting, intimidating waves of prickly heat rolling off of Gin's intense glare left the rest of the students in the lab withering, doing their utmost to not make eye-contact with her or even acknowledge to her that they existed. There might have been a few prayers muttered to rustic, barely remembered gods mixed in with what sounded a bit like data collection figures being listed off.
On the other hand, Kisuke brightened at her very threat. Where in the world could he find a sunny perspective on Gin's promise of retribution?]
Oh, my... Well, if you'd like to investigate me further then we may as well work the details out over dinner! [For the eight-hundredth time--]
[ he is shameless and charming in turns; there is something in gin that always keeps her from rejecting him too harshly (though she has very firmly said no every single time). ]

Guh! [Recoiling just somewhat at the sting of her rejection and the usual curt severity of it, he began slumping his shoulders only to have another devastating blow added to the mix.]
Ah, what? Madame, President, we should still have another... [Hour? He blinked rapidly, thoughts coalescing after finally recovering with grace. Something about that situation warranted a smile, though, so he'd raised his hands and produced a fan from thin air--shooing away fellow students and rushing them off of their work stations without pause.]
[ everyone files out. gin waits silently until the door slides shut behind her and then she raises her chin—now her anger is warmer and less like frost. her hands pressed on the table-top where kisuke has been conducting his illegal gambling. ]
I could ask you the same thing, though... I'm certain we'd be asking one another that question for two entirely different reasons.
[He followed her with an attentive stare, not seeking an opening or even an opportunity. For all the times she chased after him, looking for something to critique or punish--]
But, you know, I wouldn't question how you use your time. We're all sacrificing ourselves, so what little freedom we have left should be indulged and respected to the fullest!
Two entire different reasons? [ gin looks briefly confused and then shakes her head, a quick angry movement as if to dismiss the line of conversation. she feels there are implications there that ought to be ignores. kisuke is...kisuke after all. ]
Then use whatever little freedom you have to break the rules elsewhere. I don't like having to report you every time.
