[Disregarding her peaceful plea, Shimura turned the handle of his sword over. Unrestrained, she could overpower him, but with her sanctioned restraints on, he could navigate the path of Rashomon's power and move the winds of his storm around it. Trails of the clouds that came from his sword handle wrapped around it, not quite clashing but pooling around Naoyuki's red shield.
Naoyuki huffed, lifting his head to see Gin had come to defend him, leaving him with a broad and appreciative smile on his face. Benitaisho's shield provided a total wrap around the roof that kept it from deteriorating but it did nothing to hinder the flexible spread of that man's shikai.]
Hey! Great teamwork!
[Naoyuki called out, beaming with amazement, as if she knew precisely how to cover him from the start. Still, the only thing stopping Shimura had been Gin's second move. When the hound-like shadow lunged for him, he responded swiftly. Withdrawing the storm in a flash, he took one step forward. Shunko. The thrown wakizashi. The hounds. Weaving between them, he unsheathed his sword once more as he closed in on the space between Gin and Naoyuki. Bringing that blade down, he brought up the clouds a second time to separate the two of them and the man in the brightest robes came up from the street to land beside Naoyuki. Still covered in heaps of gum, the older man drew his sword with deadly speed.
The Tsunayashiro clan leader's sword was met with Benitaisho, Naoyuki exhaling sharply as he had to switch from one form of defense to another. The weight of that man's sword was too much for him head to head, though. When their blades met, Naoyuki was blown away and speared through the city sky, struggling to get his bearings as the world went in all directions... at least until he very suddenly came to land, crumpled in the woods just outside of Karakura. A whole clearing of trees left behind and his eyes seeing stars. The Tsunayashiro clan head looked aside to Shimura and commanded:]
Keep our revered Division Seven Captain busy. Resist the urge to kill her.
[In comparison, Tsunayashiro was cold and distant. His restrained expression carried on as he departed, spearing through Karakura like a bolt of lightning himself, to chase down the young man and kill him with his own blade.]
